The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is organised training for Mushroom Cultivation Training every month.

A mushroom is described as the fruiting body of a fungus plant that typically appears above the ground and contains spores.

Mushrooms must also rely on organic material for their nutrition and do so in three ways:

As saprophytes (living on dead wood or dead tissue of living trees or dung)
As parasites (attacking living plant or animal tissue), or
As mycorrhizae (having a symbiotic relationship with plants).

One day training programme on "Mushroom Cultivation" will be conducted at the Urban Horticulture Development Centre (UHDC) of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University between 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.

The programme will be useful to house wives, farmers, youths, SHG, NGOs and students etc.

Training certificates, lunch, notes will be issued to all participants.
Schedule:
5th of Every month (or) next working day (If 5th is holiday).
Time: 9am to 5.00pm

Rs.500 / head
