Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL) is an independent law school in San Diego, California. It was established in 1969. Its law program is accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).

They consider each candidate to be a unique individual. Every application gets full, careful and personalized consideration.

Decision Process-

They do not offer an online application status checker.

Please direct all inquiries to the Admissions Office.

Once your application is submitted through LSAC, it will be sent electronically to their office.

Only files that are complete will be reviewed for admission.

Students will receive an email notification from the Admissions Office once their file is complete.

File review and decisions take approximately 3-6 weeks.

All formal decision letters will be mailed to the current address on file – please keep your address up to date.

Deadlines

Spring (January) Enrollment: No later than January 1st
Fall (August) Enrollment: No later than August 1st

Seat Deposit

If admitted, you will be required to pay a $400 non-refundable seat deposit.

The deposit will be credited to your account and deducted from your tuition.
