Reasoning is the ability we use to position and orientate ourselves in everyday environments; here I am giving you some good Tips to solve reasoning in Bank PO exam: Reasoning section can be confusing so you should make sure you completely understand the question before attempting it Reasoning section aims at testing your logical thinking and problem solving skills. It is also one of the most times consuming, so if you are not able to answer a question, move on and get back to it later. Practise various types of puzzles and analogies to prepare. Most questions for Reasoning are based on followings: Seating Arrangements, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Statement and Conclusions, Directions, Blood Relations, Analogy, Classification, Series problems, Missing Characters, Odd Man out, Ranking Test, Data sufficiency, Assumptions and Directions. |

Make enough time for Bank-PO mock tests while preparing. Don’t divide all you time in just going through books. There are no specific tricks or formulae like in quant section to solve Logical reasoning questions quickly. The more you practice the faster you will solve them. However always try to see the logic behind every question you practice. This way you will be able to attempt questions accurately in the exam. Reasoning is present in two type in banking exam: Verbal reasoning Logical reasoning Each and every banks are covered these topics in reasoning: Topic No of Questions Coding Decoding 3 Inequalities 5 Syllogism 5 Blood Relation 2 Direction Sense 2 Seating Arrangement 5-10 Puzzles 5-10 Miscellaneous 5 If you are excellent to good in Reasoning section, then you need to attempt it as your second section, after completing English. Since you are good at this section, you can allocate 20-25 minutes to attempt it. And you earn 35 seconds in per question in reasoning.
