To solve chemistry problems in JEE, you should start your preparation as earlier as you can do. In chemistry you should be well prepared for following topics:

P- block elements
S- block elements
Classification of elements and periodicity in property
Mole concept , Solutions and gaseous state
Redox reactions, electrochemistry and ionic equilibrium.
Haloalkanes and Haloarenes; Alcohol phenoles and ethers ; Aldehyde, ketones and carboxylic acids;
P- block elements , s-block elements and Classification of elements and periodicity in properties

Understand the examination pattern and syllabus from original sources
Prioritize your syllabus and study accordingly
Use a few books to clear concepts
Work hard on each of the three subjects
