Re: Tips To Prepare For ISRO Scientist Exam

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of the Indian government head quartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

ISRO may conduct Scientist/Engineer exam for Mechanical, Civil, RAC, Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science streams.

ISRO exam will be conducted only for Mechanical, Electronics and Computer science as per notification released.

Tips to prepare for ISRO:

More than 90 percent of ISRO questions will be asked from GATE syllabus. So you can depend on GATE syllabus or undergraduate syllabus to cover the topics for ISRO exam.

Once the syllabus is covered, you must practice previous year questions of ISRO. Because 20 to 30 percent of questions would be repeated from previous year.

You can practice the questions from GATE, DRDO, other exams previous year questions. Here GATE exam could cover difficult (time taking) questions and you can omit such questions in your practice.

Because ISRO questions will be asked easy type but requires understanding of fundamentals. Many of the questions of ISRO exam depends on facts, formulas and methods/techniques

Eligibility for ISRO exam :-

*The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in engineering field at least...
*The candidate should have 60% aggregate through out the career..
*The candidate can also appear in the written test during the final year of bachelor degree..
*The candidates age should not be more than 35 years..
For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the age relaxation is 3 years..

(2) B. Tech.
(3) B. Sc. (Engg.)
(4) Diploma + B. E./B. Tech. (Lateral Entry)
(5) B. Sc. + B. E./B. Tech. (Lateral Entry)
(6) Diploma + AMIE/Grade IETE
(7) B. Sc. + AMIE/Grade IETE
