Tips For IIFT

I am planning to take admission in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and doing preparation of entrance exam searching for tips. Can you please provide me some tips how to prepare for this IIFT entrance exam along with exam pattern also provide me dates to apply for entrance exam?

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade conducts the IIFT exam every year for admissions in its two-year MBA in International Business which is offered at its campuses in New Delhi and Kolkata.

This written test is followed by an Essay Writing task, a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview. Before going to the section wise strategy for IIFT

Tips:

For RC’s- The key to score in this section lies in your reading speed. So try improvising upon that.

Reading newspaper editorial will serve two purposes- first they help you to solve analytical RC’s, and another they improve your reading speed.

For GK- Read newspaper daily and also access some of the free online resources to brush up my GK.

For LR & QA-

The key to score in QA is to be quick and manage time.

Take basic concepts of Quants first and start working on calculations so as to ace the DI part. For LR- again reading and practicing is the only key.

Exam pattern:

The question paper will have approximately 125 MCQ type questions. The question paper will be divided into 4 sections as follows-

Verbal Ability
Quantitative Ability
Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning
Reading Comprehension & General Awareness

Admit card availability first week of November 2016
