Re: Tips To Clear AIPMT

AIPMT preparation is not very easy. You might wanna do the following things to clear it-

1. Study NCERT books. By study, I mean you should know NCERT like the back of your hand

2. Get a good postal coaching. I took Brilliant tutorial, chennai

3. Online test series will help. Its good if you have tests every week and you
take it very seriously. I will suggest Allen or Akash for this.

4. Stay away from all kinds of social networking sites including the forums
that discuss about ‘difficulties of the exam’ at monotonous lengths.

5. Getting somebody to clear your doubts will help. I went for a coaching
class but they did not encourage interactive sessions. Brilliants, seniors or
school teachers will be of some help here.

6. Get a plan in place. Have a long term plan, which allows atleast one in-
depth revision (preferrably two revisions, due to the volatility of the subjects)
and multiple short term goals. Flexibility in the short term plans is as
justified as the rigidity in the long term plan. I would say you should atleast
finish all the topics by Oct.

7. Try to stay away from fights, toxic relationships, toxic friendships and
relationships. Try to have a clear head. Sometimes, even some catchy songs
can be a problem!

8. People usually study for 15 to 18 hours a day for this. Clearing AIPMT
becomes more important given the fact you have lost a year. Perseverance is
the key.

9. Study from chemistry today, physics for you and biology today. I tried to
study but could not do much due to lack of time.

10. Get a good MCQ book for all the subjects. Buy the ones with explanations
given at the end of a question paper so that there is no unnecessary
peeking!! Also towards the end of the preparation, make it a point to keep
time while solving answers i.e do Mock tests
