A teacher to be recognized as Ph. D Guide should fulfill the following eligibility criteria-
1. He/ She should have full time regular faculty with seven years teaching experience to the degree classes & atleast four years teaching experience at the P.G. Level
2. A Ph. D. Degree holder with a minimum of three years post Ph.D. experience.
3. He/ She should have atleast five research Publications in indexed/ ISBN/ ISSN numbered journals of National/ International level in relevant subject.
4. The guide ship shall be approved by Board of Management on the recommendation of the Committee of Subject Experts who would be appointed by the Vice Chancellor. The committee based on his/ her evaluation of the research papers and other research output submitted by the candidate shall recommend eligibility for guide ship.
5. A recognized guide shall not be allowed to register a candidate for Ph.D. if the researcher is blood related/ closely related to him/ her.
