Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) conducts annual summer programmes in which talented students are introduced to research activities in the areas of Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics.

Research fellowship program:

Visiting Students' Research Programme (VSRP-2020) will be held at TIFR, Mumbai during the period from May 5 to July 9, 2020

Dates:

School of Natural Sciences (NSF) and
School of Technology & Computer Sciences (STCS)
May 5 to July 6, 2020

School of Mathematics
Batch 1: May 5 to June 4, 2020, 16:00 hours
Batch 2: June 9 to July 9, 2020, 16:00 hours

Eligibility:
Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics/
Computer & Systems Sciences :
1) Two years of undergraduate course work in an academic institution.
2) Should not have particpated in VSRP before.

Please note that the VSRP programme is for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme and not for PhD students or faculty members.
Selection:
Selection is purely based on the academic performance of the student, submitted write-up and referee reports. There is no selection test/interview.

Stipend/Accommodation:
Rs 7000/- (Maths Programme - ~4.5 weeks).
Rs 14000/- (NSF/STCS Programme - ~9 weeks).
