As you want to get the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET) exam so here is the information of the same for you:

Karnataka PGCET 2015 Exam Pattern will be as follows:
The Karnataka PGCET 2015 Exam will be held in 2 sessions
The duration of each session will be 150 minutes
There will be four versions of the question paper comprising of multiple choice questions
Each question will have four options.
The question paper will be pen and paper based.
There is no negative marking

The Karnataka PGCET 2015 Exam Pattern for the various courses of M.Tech/M.E will be as follows:
1. M.Tech at Department of PG Studies and Research in Mathematics and Computer Science of Kuvempu University and Department of Studies in Computer Science, University of Mysore, will be as follows:
The total number of questions: 75 multiple choice questions
Total Marks: 100
Breakup of questions:
50 Questions of 1 Mark each
25 Questions of 2 Mark each

2. M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch programs of VTU / UBDTCE and UVCE

The Written Test will be conducted in a total of 11 disciplines out of which 8 disciplines are as follows
Civil Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Computer Science Engineering
Environmental Engineering
Textile Engineering
Polymer Science
Architecture
Bio-Technology

Paper Pattern will be:
Total Number of Questions : 75 Multiple Choice Questions
Total Marks: 100
50 Questions of 1 Mark each
25 Questions of 2 Mark each

The Karnataka PGCET 2015 Exam Pattern for Electrical Science will allow for the following disciplines:
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (E & E)
Electronics and Communication Engineering (E & C)
Telecommunication Engineering (TC)
Instrumentation Technology (IT)
Bio-Medical Engineering (BME)
Medical Electronics (ME)
Allied branches of Electrical Science (ABE)

The Karnataka PGCET 2015 Exam Pattern for Mechanical Science will allow for the following disciplines:
Mechanical Engineering (MC)
Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE)
Industrial and Engineering Management (IEM)
Automobile Engineering (AE)
Manufacturing Science and Engineering (MSE)
Allied Branches of Mechanical Science (ABM)

The Question Paper for Electrical Sciences and Mechanical Science will consist of part-A and part-B comprising of 75 questions for 100 marks as follows:

Part A will be common to all the disciplines as follows:
Total Number of Questions: 45
Total Marks: 60
30 Questions of 1 mark each
15 Questions of 2 mark each

Part-B will be discipline specific
Total number of questions: 30
Total Marks: 40
20 Questions carrying 1 mark each
10 Questions carrying 2 mark each

Karnataka PGCET 2015 Application Form Fees:
Rs.650 (Rs.500 for SC/ST candidates of Karnataka)

Payment Mode:
Cash Payment at any branch of State Bank of Mysore or at any E-Payment Pot Offices

Karnataka PGCET 2015 Important Dates:
Commencement of Online Application: June, 2015
Payment of fees at SBM/E-Payment Post Offices: July, 2015
Last Date for submission of Application: July, 2015
Last date to pay the fees: July Second Week, 2015
Downloading of Admission Tickets on or after: July Third Week, 2015
Karnataka PGCET 2015 Exam: July Last Week, 2015
Result: August, 2015
Counselling: August 2015
