Thapar University invites the applications for admission to II semester PhD Programme in following specializations of Management , Engineering, Technology and Sciences in the following Departments / Schools of Thapar University from time to time .

Eligibility

Applicants must have obtained ME / M.Tech / M.Phil / MCA / M.Sc / MA / MBA / CA or equivalent with 55 percent marks in aggregate where marks are awarded or NET (UGC/CSIR) qualified.

Applicants with BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent with excellent academic record (minimum CGPA of 9.00) may be considered for admission.

Part-time studies leading to PhD degree are permitted for professionally employed personnel.

Admission Procedure

Applicants on the basis of merit of Entrance Test and Interview to be taken by the University.

The Applicants must have obtained minimum of 20 percent marks in the written exam shall only be called for Interview.

Relaxation for appearing in the Entrance Test may be given by the University to those Applicants who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF).
