Secondary Education Department, Assam Government has released a notification for Special Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Exam for the recruitment of 1618 Graduate Teacher (Hindi & Sanskrit) vacancies in Secondary Schools.

The application process of the recruitment was held from from 01-02-2016 to 15-02-2016.

Name of the Post: Graduate Teacher

1. Hindi: 1031
2. Sanskrit: 587

Eligibility Criteria-

Hindi Teacher:

Candidates must have Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized university
or
B.A with Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks and B.T/ B. Ed. degree from any recognized University

Sanskrit Teacher:

Candidates must have Shastri with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized University
or
B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/ B.Ed degree from any recognized University

Age Limit:

Candidates age should not be above 38 years

Age relaxation is applicable upto 5 years for SC/ ST candidates.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on test and interview.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs. 400/-.
