Application Fees
The Application Fees for the Assam TET Exam 2017 is INR 400 & Reserve Candidates will get relaxation as per according to the Rules.

Eligibility
Educational Qualification
The Candidate Must Have the Graduation Degree with 50% Marks & PG Degree as per according to the Preferences & Also Requited The D.ED & B.ED Degree As per according to the application filled.

Age Limit
The Age of the Applicant Must be not more than minimum 38 Years.

History and Culture of India with Special Emphasis on Assam History.
Indian Political System and Constitution of India.
General Science and Technology.
Geography of India with Special emphasis on Assam.
the Economy of India with Special emphasis on Assam.

Secondary Education in India and Management of Schools.

Current Affairs Syllabus:

Matters of State.
National and International importance.
Political and Economic developments.
Culture.
Art.
Literature.
Games.
Sports.
Scientific.
Technological advancements, etc

General English Syllabus:

Remedial Grammar:
Determiners.
Tense Forms.
Auxiliaries- primary and modals.
Direct and indirect narration.
Active and passive voice.
Appropriate prepositions.
Vocabulary-antonyms, Synonyms.
Pairs of Words.

Composition:
Letter Writing- Personal and Formal.
Report Writing.
Phrases and idioms.
Punctuation.
Sentence structure – word order.

Exam pattern
The examination shall be for 100 marks of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each one of them carrying equal marks. The subject areas broadly are as follows.

Sl. No - Subject - Number of Questions - Marks

1 - General Studies & Current Affairs - 50 MCQs - 50 marks
2 - Subject Specific - 50 MCQs - 50 marks

Total Marks - 100 marks

Candidates have to qualify both the parts separately to qualify the exam.
