The Institute Instrumentation Centre, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has the Tecnai G2 20 TEM as the central facility for all the IIT Roorkee students
from all departments and for students from other universities as well as research industries.

Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)

It is a highly advanced, state-of-the-art transmission electron microscope with an unrivalled task-oriented user interface.

It offers high performance with versatility, high productivity with ease of use, and all in a personal environment.

They have the following accessories fitted in to this system STEM, CCD cameras, EDX and energy filters are embedded into the user interface, allowing differently experienced operators to fully utilize the functionality of the total system through one coherent interface.
