Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is a competitive test conducted by the Anna University.

This test is for those students who wish to pursue their career in the fields such as MBA/ MCA, M.E., M. Tech, M. Arch, etc.

This examination is administered by the university itself.

The University came into existence in the year 1979 and since then it has been known for its successful courses.

The university is located in the state of Tamil Nadu in Chennai.

The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Distance Education Bureau (DEB).

Through TANCET, Anna University offers various postgraduate and undergraduate courses. In the state of Tamil Nadu.

Students must have 10+2 and 10+2+3 education background from a recognized institute of the country.

The exam patter is simple for TANCET. There are 100 multiple choice questions. The duration of the examination is 2 hours.

The examination has 5 different sections which carry 20 questions each. TANCET also carries negative marking for every wrong answer.
