Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant need to pass master degree with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST categories students)
Applicants who are in final year or who are waiting for their results are also eligible to apply for SET.

Age limit:
There is no upper age limit

TNSET Application Fee:

For general category candidates is Rs 1000/-
For other backward category candidate is Rs 750/-
For SC/ST/visually challenged and physically challenged candidates is Rs 250/-

Tamilnadu SET Paper Pattern: The exam contains three papers.

Paper I: Research / teaching aptitude

Paper II:
50 objective type compulsory questions
Duration: 1 1/4 hours
Total marks: 100 Marks

Paper III:
75 objective type compulsory questions
Duration: 2 1/2 Hours
Total marks: 150 Marks
