Tamil Nadu MBBS Admission Dates

Will you please provide the information regarding the MBBS Admission Dates in Tamil Nadu medical colleges ?

Selection Committee Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu has invited the admission form for admissions to the MBBS in government and private medical and dental colleges of Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu Medical Admission 2014 will be done on the basis of marks in 10+2 or Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC).

Eligibility:
Candidate should be a Native of Tamil Nadu

Candidate Should have completed the age of Seventeen years on or before December 31, 2014

Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology and Botany)

Applicants who have studied from VIII to XII standards in schools in Tamil Nadu need not enclose the ‘Nativity Certificate’

Applicants who are native of Tamil Nadu but studied from VIII to XII Std either partly or completely in schools situated outside Tamil Nadu should produce the ‘Nativity Certificate’

Selection Procedure:
Applicants will be shortlisted for counselling on the basis of their rank as in merit list.
Ranking will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the eligible Applicants in the science subjects in the qualifying examinations (10+2).
