The ISA - Information Systems Analyst Certificate course offered by Institute for the Certification of Computing Professionals is designed for graduating seniors from 4 year undergraduate Information Systems degree programs.

Institutes use the assessment approach to evaluate students, educational program outcomes and benchmark their students against the database of exam takers.

Some companies use it to evaluate incoming employees to verify skills and competencies.

A 50% or higher pass in the approximately 3 hour long ISA, plus an undergraduate degree, qualifies an individual to receive the title of ISA-Practitioner and at 70% or higher grade, is specified as ISA-Mastery level.

Applications

Upon acceptance of application form, one has 90 days to sit for the exam. A confirmation letter is sent to the applicant with information on scheduling the exam. All Fees are non refundable

Exams must satisfy other the certification requirements
• For conversion to CCP, all exams need to be passed at 70% or better.
• Taking the ICCP's IS Core, Data Management and Data Warehousing exams qualify for both the CBIP and CDP.
• Both programs have similar Practitioner and Master Levels.
• All exams must be passed between 50 – 69% for the Practitioner level and at 70% or better for the Mastery level.
• Taking the ICCP's Business and Technology Management exam plus Data Management and Data Warehousing will qualify you for the CBIP.
• Both programs have similar Practitioner and Master levels.

Work experience must qualify for the other certification requirements
• For the CCP, one need 4 years of IT work experience.
• For the BDMP, CBIP and CDP, one need 4 years of IT work experience for Mastery level and 2 years of IT experience for Practitioner level
• Up to 24 months of the experience requirement can be substituted with the appropriate undergraduate or graduate degree
