The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Conducts the SSC Stenographer Exam for Recruitment of Candidates to the post Of Stenographer of ‘C’ and ‘D’ Grade.

SSC Stenographer Exam Consists Complete 3 Sections :

General Awareness – This section is Comprised of 50 marks in total.

General Intelligence and Reasoning – This section is comprised of 50 marks in total.

English Language and Comprehension – This section is comprised of 100 marks in total.

Marking Scheme :

The Marking Scheme Contains Negative Marking.

For every right answer, 1 mark will be added

For each Wrong Answer, 0.25 Marks will be Subtracted.

The selection of the candidates for the post shall be based on the marks obtained in this written exam.

Section 3 (English Language)

The section-3 contains the following topics that are mostly related to English.
Active and passive voice.
Synonyms and antonyms.
Homonyms.
Fill in the blanks.
Direct and Indirect Conversion.
Comprehension passage.
Spellings.
Miss-spelt words detection.
Cloze passage.
