National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) in Bangalore, Karnataka, is a research centre specializing in biological research.

The JGEEBILS is a shared entrance test for several institutions doing research in Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences. The test is coordinated by NCBS/TIFR.

Programmes offered at NCBS, Bangalore and DBS, Mumbai

Biology

PhD (NCBS and DBS)
Integrated PhD (NCBS and DBS)
M.Sc by Research (only at DBS) - IISER Pune, Kolkata
M.Sc in Wildlife Biology and Conservation (only at NCBS)

Syllabus:

There is no particular syllabus for this entrance exam. Questions will generally asked from basic Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
