Jawaharlal Nehru University MA in English course details are:

MA in English

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:
The applicant should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks.

Selection procedure:
Admission is based on entrance exam conducted by JNU.

Paper pattern
M.A. English entrance exam syllabus has following topics:
English Literature,
Literature in India and other Third World Countries,
English in India,
Literary and Cultural Theories, and
Practical Criticism of given literary pieces

The Objective of the test is to select those who demonstrate not just in-depth knowledge of literature and culture, but literary sensibility and a capacity for original thinking.
