As you are asking for the syllabus/exam pattern for the exam of DRDO so here I am providing you the syllabus and necessary details below. The Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) is the qualifying exam accomplished for the staffing and selection of suitable contenders in the Scientist post. The exam is commonly called as the Scientist Entry Test (SET). The applicants in order to participate in the DRDO Recruitment exam should be having degrees in engineering from with the minimum qualifying marks as specified for this purpose. The exam is organized and conducted in the months of June/ July respectively by the concerned authorities in the manner as prescribed for this purpose. Name of Exam: DRDO Recruitment Exam Conducting Organization: Defence Research Development Organization Recruitment for: Scientist Criteria for DRDO Exam: There will be two sections in the exam having four choices to choose from per question. The applicants should qualify in both the sections of the exam in the required merit to get selected in the concerned post. Section A: Subject Specific Question Section B: Aptitude for Applied Research & Development There will be five major types of questions in the Section B of the concerned exam. This includes the following: LR (Logical Reasoning) 10 Questions Spatial Reasoning -10 Questions Concept Formation- 10 Questions Abstract Reasoning -10 Questions and Numerical Reasoning -10 Questions View here for DRDO Exam Results details Total Number of Questions: 150 Total Marks Allotted: 500 (Section A Marks: 400 + Section B Marks: 100 (20 Marks per Section)) Duration of Exam: 3 Hours Marking Criteria: There will be an addition of 4 marks per question in case of Section A and 2 marks per question in case of Section B. There will be a subtraction of 1 mark in case of Section A and ½ marks in case of Section B correspondingly for the wrong questions try by the applicants respectively. Aspirants will be short listed on the basis of the performances of the applicants in the written exam. This shall be followed by the Interview scheduled to be held on the dates as specified for this purpose. |
