Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana or VYASA is a registered charitable institution (1986) working for making Yoga as a socially relevant Science. Its mission is to combine the best of the East (Yoga and Spiritual lore) with that of the West (modern scientific research).

B Sc (Yoga and Consciousness)

B Sc (Yoga and Consciousness) is three year degree course which starts on 1st of August of every year.

Mandatory requirements:
1. Photo.
2. Father’s photo.
3. Mother’s photo.
4. Photo of local guardian.
5. 10thMatric certificate
6. 12/PUC certificate.
7. Signature of the student
8. Medical fitness certificate
9. Any other certificates (optional).
10. Passport Copy (Foreign Nationals/ NRI’s)
11. Visa Copy (Foreign Nationals/ NRI’s)
Checklist :
1. The course starts 1st of August every year.

2. Initial payment of Rs.300/- to be remitted towards application fee.

3. The course fee is Rs.1,56,900/- for Indians and SAARC countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka).

4. The course fee for foreign nationals and NRIs is USD9,600/- per year which can be paid in full or in semesters.

5. Only dormitory accommodation will be provided (Indians/SAARC)

6. Simple vegetarian food will be provided.

7. Cooking or taking food to the rooms are strictly prohibited.

8. The boys/gents have to take food in Sadapurna and the girls/ladies in ladies hostel Yogapurna only.

9. The foreigners/NRIs will have option to take food in Sampurna.

10. The students have to bring their own daily needs such as blankets, pillows, bed spread etc.

11. Sanskrit study in the school days/Gurukula is compulsory.

12. Discipline of the University has to be maintained at all times.

13. All classes are compulsory. 90% attendance in each is compulsory.
