Can you tell me if I have to clear Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG) for admission in MD (Medicine) Program offered by Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati?

The MD courses offered by Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati are full time courses. The candidate shall be full time resident.

No postgraduate is allowed to do any private practice or consultation and shall not accept any part time employment in any state or central or Quasi Government or private organizations during the period of Post Graduate study. If anyone violates the rule, appropriate action shall be taken after giving opportunity for explanation.

SVIMS is a University established by Govt. of AP state legislature act 1995 as an autonomous institute. The counselling for admission into UG and PG courses offered by SVIMS shall be conducted by Dr NTRUHS.

1. Allotment order
2. NEET PG – hall ticket, Rank card.
3. 10th class (SSC) certificate
4. MBBS degree certificate
5. MBBS consolidated marks memo
6. Certificate of Internship
7. Medical Council Registration Certificate
8. Transfer / Migration certificate of MBBS.
9. Study & Conduct certificate of MBBS (7 years).
10. Integrated permanent community certificate for SC/ST/BC categories.

Fees:

01. Tuition fee per annum 1,00,000 /-
02. Library fee per annum 5,000/-
03. Registration fee 1,000/-
04. Sports & Cultural Activities fee per annum 1,000/-
05. Medical expenses fee per annum 5,000/-
06. Caution Deposit (Refundable) 10,000/-
07. Hostel Deposit (Refundable) 5,000/-
08. Hostel Corpus fund (Non-refundable) 5,000/

During the time of reporting for admission one has to pay Rs. 11,200/- (non refundable) and submit all the original certificates and Bond as specified in these regulations. If one wants to cancel the admission / slide to other college, the amount paid will not be refunded.

One has to pay Library, Registration, Sports & Cultural, Medical expenses fee of Rs. 12,000/- before closure of admissions.

The balance tuition fee will be deducted from their monthly stipend in instalments.


Stipend:
Monthly stipend is paid to one admitted to the course for the period not exceeding 36 months taking their monthly attendance into consideration. As per the existing norms, the PG residents are paid monthly stipend during 1st year -42,000/-; 2nd year -45,000/-; 3rd year-48,000/- respectively.

In service candidates will not be paid stipend if one draws leave salary in their parent institution.
