Eligibility:

Candidates should pass with minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation for the General and OBC candidates.

Candidates should pass with minimum 50% marks for the SC/ST candidates.

There are mainly two subjects which MBA qualified students undertake for NET examination.

These are subjects are as mentioned below:

1. Labour Welfare/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/ Labour & Social Welfare/Human Resource Management

or

2. Management (This includes Business Admn. Mgt./Marketing/ Marketing Mgt./Industrial Relations and Personnel Mgt./ Personnel Mgt./Financial Mgt./Co-operative Management)

As you have done MBA in Finance which is your major so I suggest you take the later subject i.e. Management which would be more suitable & give an added advantage later on.

To be eligible for the exam one must secure atleast 55% scores in the MBA.

One gets a 5% relaxation in the minimum percentage of marks criteria, if they fall
under SC/ST/PH/VH category.

The UGC-NET exams are generally held in the months of December and June every year.
