How many council under the Student Gymkhana at the IIT Hyderabad? Can you please share the details of the each council under it? I want to become member of the IIT Hyderabad Student Gymkhana. Can you please tell me about the rule and regulation to take the membership?

Student Gymkhana IITH is the student body of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Hyderabad which aims to bring the students together for their mutual all-round development. All members of Gymkhana are bounded by the Student Gymkhana Constitution and functions through its Executive Council, with the guidance of faculty in charges.


The Gymkhana has 6 councils under it. They are the Presidential Council, General Council, Science and Technology Council, abbreviated as the Sci-Tech Council, the Cultural and Literary Council, Sports Council and Media Council.

Each of the councils is headed by a secretary who takes care of the functioning of each of their respective councils. The council also works mutually in conducting events for the welfare of the students co-ordinated by the president of gymkhana.
