No problem fella I will get details of Stenographer (Grade 'C&D') exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission so that you can get idea. Exam pattern It is objective based written the examination in which the question paper will be comprised of multiple choice questions only. The written exam will be divided into three parts as follows. General Intelligence and Reasoning – 50 marks General Awareness – 50 marks English Language – 100 marks Application fees For General Category candidates: Rs.100/- NO FEE is to be paid by SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen and women candidates. Eligibility The applicant must have passed class 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized central board of secondary education. The candidate must lie in the range of Minimum 18-27 Maximum years as on 1 August 2016) In order to claim the benefits of reservations, applicants will be required to produce the proper certificates and documents regarding the same. Syllabus General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogies, similarities, and differences Space Visualization Problem-solving Analysis Judgement Decision Making Visual Memory Discriminating Observation Relationship Concepts Arithmetical Reasoning Verbal and Figure Classification Arithmetical Number Series, Non-Verbal Series etc General Awareness: India and its Neighboring countries Especially pertaining to Sports History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. English Language & Comprehension: Active and passive voice. Synonyms and antonyms. Homonyms. Fill in the blanks. Direct and Indirect Conversion. Comprehension passage. Spellings. Miss-spelt words detection. Cloze passage. |
