Following are Eligibility and applying procedure for fellowship Program in West Bengal:

Eligibility:
First class Master’s degree in Geography /Geology/ Applied Geology/ Agriculture & Soil Science/ Environmental Science/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ B.E. Civil (with specialisation in Water Resource Management)

Two years working experience in preparation of various theme
maps using RS & GIS techniques

Age Limit: 35 years

Remuneration:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 14,100/- per month (consolidated)
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs.16,400/- per month (consolidated)


Note:
1. The application form is attached herewith.
2. Applicants are requested to send filled-in application form along with attested photocopies of all the supporting testimonials to Dr. P. B. Hazra, Senior Scientist, in the address mentioned above.
3. The last date of receipt of completed application form is 27th September, 2012 by 4.00 p.m..
4. In case of large number of applications, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
5. Candidates with incomplete applications will not be called for the interview.
6. WBSCST has the discretion to relax the qualifying age for candidates with higher qualifications and longer experience.
