Can you provide me the steps for Account Opening in State Bank of Patiala as I am planning to open a Saving Account in it, please help me with this?

The steps for Account Opening in State Bank of Patiala as you want to open a Saving Account in it are as follows:

Step 1:

First and fore most fill the Customer Information Section

One must fill Part A first.

Once filled Part A and save the form, a Temporary Customer Reference Number (TCRN) is generated which need to be noted as it is needed later to edit the form, if desire, and to link the customer in the Account Opening Form.

Following parts in this step are filled only after successfully filled Part A.

Step 2:

Now fill the Account Information Section

Part A: Type of Account and Services Required.

Part B: Nomination Form (optional but recommended).

The section has to be filled for each account that one wish to open.

One needs to fill Part A first.

Once filled Part A and save the form, a Temporary Account Reference Number (TARN) is generated which needed to be noted.

One needs it later to edit or print the form.

Following parts are filled only after successfully filled Part A.

After successful filling up of data in the account opening form, an SMS notification will be sent to 1st applicant's mobile number along with the TARN.

Step 3:

Read the Savings Bank Rules

It is necessary to read these rules carefully before signing the account opening form.

By applying to the Bank for opening the account, one confirms that one has read the rules and that agree to abide by these.

A print of the same can also be taken by you after generation of TARN.
