Here I am providing the basic details of Probationary Officer exam of State Bank of India for your guidance. Eligibility criteria:- Qualifications: -Aspirants must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt. -Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination Age limit:- Not below 21 years and not above 30 years Relaxation of Upper age limit: i) Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe - 5 years ii) Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) - 3 years iii) Persons With Disabilities (PWD) a) PWD (SC/ST) - 15 Years b) PWD (OBC) - 13 Years c) PWD (Gen) - 10 Years Selection Procedure: Phase-I Preliminary Exam Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online; duration:-1 hour consisting of 3 Sections as follows: i. English Language - 30 questions; 30 marks; duration - Composite time of 1 hour ii. Quantitative Aptitute - 35 questions; 35 marks; duration - Composite time of 1 hour iii. Reasoning Ability- 35 questions; 35 marks; duration - Composite time of 1 hour Phase- II Main Exam Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online.
