The word PO stands for probationary officer. A person can join as a probationary officer only if they are at least a graduate. Also their age should be less than 30 years

PO for Indian Overseas Bank gets Rs.28,000 as starting salary. With new wage revision coming onto effect this will reach around Rs.40,000 from April 15.

Job profile of BAnk PO
During the probation period they are trained for having the practical knowledge in finance, accounting, marketing, billing as well as investment.

PO has to verify all the work done by bank clerk. All the transactions of bank involve the role of makerand checker.
