Staff Selection Commission has issued the official notification of SSC CHSL 2015 Examination, on its official website, on 13 June 2015, for recruitment to the posts of DEO, LDC (10+2) in various government departments. Eligibility: Educational Qualification – The Candidate should have passed class XII or intermediate exam or equivalent from a state or central recognized institute. Age Limit – Candidate’s age must be between 18 years and 27 years as on 1 August 2015 Upper Age Relaxation – Relaxation in age will be given for the candidates belonging to reserved category as per the government rules. The following categories will be relaxed with respect to age. SC/ST – 5 years OBC – 3 years PH – 10 years PH + OBC – 13 years PH + SC/ST – 15 years Important dates: Application form process begins – 13 June 2015 Closing date of application form process – 06 July 2015 Exam date – 01, 08 and 15 November 2015 Selection procedure: Selection process comprises of two parts – written examination followed by a skill test. The candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for skill test. Exam pattern Part I • There shall be 4 parts of the single question paper. 50 questions each would be asked from these sections. • These parts are – General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. • Weightage of each section is 50 marks. • Duration of the exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes. • The Paper will consist of objective type (multiple choice questions) only. • Questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV. • There will be negative marking of ¼ marks for each wrong answer.
