Staff Selection Commission Constable (GD) exam details are as given below;

Constable (GD)

The written examination will consists of objective type multiple choices questions of 100 questions and will carry 100 marks.

Part-A – General Intelligence and Reasoning –

Part-B – General Awareness & General Knowledge –

Exam Syllabus:-
General Intelligence: The questions comes from various chapters like No-Verbal Reasoning, Problem solving, analysis, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series etc.

General Awareness: The questions will be asked from recent news, current affairs, Indian History, Indian Polity, Science, Geography of India and World, India Economy etc.

Elementary Mathematics: The section including of Number Systems, Discount, Profit and Loss, Interest, Ratio and Proporation, Percentage, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, use of Tables and Graphs, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations etc.

English/ Hindi Language: Basic knowledge of Grammer of English/ Hindi Language a, comprehension and writing ability would be test
