Can you tell me in detail about the recruitment for the post of Staff Nurse for RRBs (Railway Recruitment Boards) in India?

The RRC (Railway Recruitment Cell) conducts recruitment for the post of Staff Nurse for RRBs (Railway Recruitment Boards) in India.

Eligibility:
Only the candidates who come under the definition of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) as defined in Para 11 of this notification are eligible to apply.
Admission for the online examination would be on the basis of the information furnished by them in the online application.
If at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, it is found that any information provided by the candidates in application is false/incorrect or one has suppressed any relevant information or one otherwise does not satisfy the eligibility criteria candidature will be cancelled forthwith without any notice.

Educational qualification:
• One must have passed their Graduation /diploma degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
• One should have relevant experience in allied discipline according to Post.

Age Limit:
• One’s age criteria for this recruitment post will be allows as per it will be notified by norms of Government.
• Age relaxation it will be provided to reserved category as per organizational norms.

Mode of selection:
After written examination, result of the candidates will be prepared RRC wise (based on their vacancies) and will be sent to respective RRCs.
Therefore, their selection in this examination will be subject to number of vacancies advertised by that RRC concerned.
After results are declared, documents verification and medical examination of the candidates will be held in their opted RRC, if they are short listed as per cut off marks/merit of their opted RRC.
One must note that no centralized merit list will be formed.
One’s selection will depend upon the RRC has chosen in the online Application and will be confined to the number of vacancies notified by that RRC only, in their respective PH category.

Syllabus:
The syllabus for the written examination will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or technical qualifications prescribed for the posts.
The Questions will be of objective type with multiple answers and likely to include questions pertaining to General Knowledge, General English /General Hindi, General Arithmetic, Analytical and Quantitative Skills and those subjects covered as part of minimum educational/technical qualifications for the post.
The question paper will be in English, Hindi and Urdu as well as in regional languages prevails in the jurisdiction of each RRB.
