Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) recruits the candidates for posts of Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse), Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) and Head Constable (Midwife).

Details of ITBP Recruitment

1. Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse) (Male/Female): 03 Nos. (UR-1; SC-1; OBC-1)

Educational Qualification:

10+2 passed and must have passed General Nursing & Midwifery course.

Candidates must be registered with Central/State Nursing Council.

Desirable: 03 years experience as Nurse.

Age Limit: Between 21 years to 30

Pay Scale: Rs.9300/ – Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

2. Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) (Male/Female): 02 Nos. (UR-1; ST-1)

Educational Qualification:

10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology AND Diploma in Pharmacy

Candidates must be registered as Pharmacist.

Age Limit: Between 20 years to 28 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/ – Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-

3. Assistant Sub Inspector (Lab Technician) (Male/Female): 04 Nos. (UR-3; ST-1)

Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology AND Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology plus one year experience as Laboratory Technician.

Age Limit: Between 20 years to 28 years

Pay Scale: Rs.5200/ – Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-

Physical Standards:

For Male Candidates: Height – 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) – 80/85cms (77/82cms for ST); Weight – Corresponding to height.

For Female Candidates: Height – 150 cms for all; Chest – Not Applicable; Weight – Corresponding to height.

Eye Sight: Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction/glasses.

Color blind person are not eligible to apply.

Candidates’ Selection:

Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Standard Test, Written, Practical and Viva voce Examination.

There will be Medical Examination at final stage.
