SSC Vs Bank PO

I have completed my graduation and confused whether to give the SSC CGL or Bank PO exams. Please tell me which one is better in future SSC CGL or Bank PO? Also tell me the pros and cons of the SSC CGL and Bank PO along with the starting pay scale in both SSC CGL and Bank PO?

Re: SSC Vs Bank PO

SSC CGL is purely a government job.

On the other hand, SBI and different banks recruit numerous aspirants each year through various SBI exams or IBPS exams for a variety of posts.

The number of job vacancies in banks is much higher as compared to vacancies in SSC CGL.

Given below is the list of online exams conducted by SSC yearly:

SSC GD
SSC CGL
SSC CHSL
SSC JE
SSC CPO
SSC MTS
SSC Stenographer

SSC CGL Career progression:

Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ officers can be posted anywhere in India, post-recruitment. After a few years of service, they’re promoted to Senior Audit Officers (SAO), Commissioners, Principal Directors, Deputy Secretaries, Senior Superintendent, Senior Divisional Account Officers, Narcotics Commissioners, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Senior Accounts Officers.
