So I am providing it to you: Paper Pattern: Whole process of Examination is divided into 03 important segments which is as follows : 1. Tier-1 :- Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type) 2. Tier-2 :- Written Examination (Objective multiple Choice Type) 3. Tier-3 :- Personality Test cum Interview/Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test (wherever applicable)/Document Verification Scheme of Examination :- Tier-1 Examination comprise of 04 subjects :- a. General Intelligence :- 50 marks b. General Awareness :- 50 marks c. Quantitative Aptitude :- 50 marks d. English Comprehension :- 50 marks Total Marks :- 200 marks Duration :- 02 hours VH and Cerebral Palsy :- 02 hours 40 minutes Tier-2 Examination comprise of 02 subjects : a. Quantitative Abilities :- 200 marks (100 Questions) b. English Language & Comprehension :- 200 marks c. Statistics if any body applies for Statistic Investigator post :- 200 marks. Total Questions :- 200 questions Total Marks :- 400 marks (100 ques. of 200 marks for paper c) Tier-3 Examination comprise of Personality Test or Personal Interview :- a. It comprise of Personality, Confidence, Mental Ability, Smartness etc. b. Marks :- 100 marks Total marks for SSC CGL 2015 Exam :- 700 marks Negative Marking :- 0.25 marks for each wrong answer (0.50 negative marking for Paper 1 & Paper 2) Syllabus: Tier I: 1. General Intelligence & Reasoning :- It includes questions of both Verbal and Non-Verbal Cadre cadre. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts , arithmetic reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. 2. General Awareness :- Questions in this component aims at determining the applicant’s General Awareness towards environment around him/her and it values of society. It will also based on testing the participant’s knowledge of Current Events etc. 3. Quantitative Aptitude :- The questions will be asked to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and numbers sense of the candidates. 4. English Comprehension :- Questions will be designed to test the understanding of English , his/her basics comprehension and writing ability etc. Level of questions for Part 1,2 & 4 will be graduate level and of 03 will 10th based. Tier II: Quantitative Aptitude The questions will be asked to test the ability of the applicants about the use of numbers and number sense. The scope of the test will be the determination of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationship between numbers, Percentage, Ratio & Proportions, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit & loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and Distance, Time & Work, Basic Algebraic identities of School, Algebra & Elementary Surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, Tangents, Angles subtended by chords of circles etc. English Language and Comprehension Questions will be asked to test the understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/detecting mis-spelt words, idioms & phrases etc. Statistics For investigator Grade-II post which comprise of Primary and Secondary Data, Method of collection of data, Tabulation of data, Graphs and Charts, Frequency Distribution, Diagrammatic presentation of frequency distribution etc. |
