As you want to know dates and selection procedure with other details of SRM University engineering entrance exam, here I will gather details for you.

Eligibility
The candidate should be a citizen of India.

The candidate must have secured 65% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry in the qualifying examination.

However, for biotechnology, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics and genetic engineering, minimum 65% aggregate in Mathematics / Biology, Physics and Chemistry is required.

Tentative dates
Registration or availability of application form 3rd week October 2016
Last date to receive the application form 4th week of March 2017
Slot booking 4th week of March 2017
Availability of admit card/hall ticket 4th week of March 2017
SRMJEEE 2017 3rd week of April 2017
SRMJEEE 2017 Result 1st week of May 2017
SRMJEEE 2017 Counselling 2nd week of May 2017

Exam pattern
It is expected that SRMJEEE will be conducted in the 3rd week of April 2017. Below is the pattern of question paper of SRMJEEE

There is provision for negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

However, in the section of Biology, only 0.7 will be deducted for the wrong answer. In total, the test paper is of 420 marks.

The exam centre will be allocated by the examination authority.

Candidates need to enter their choice of exam centre at the time of filling the application form.

The authority will try to allocate the centre of the candidate’s choice but they may get another centre also.
