I have already given the TANCET exam for taking admisison in best institutes for doing MBA want to know in SRM University TANCET score is valid for taking admission in MBA course and also tell me what is the TANCET cut off marks for this University?

The SRM University is admitted candidates through TANCET entrance exam for MBA. Admission to MBA program will be on the basis of performance in SRM Joint Management Entrance Examination (SRMJMEE) conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University).

Candidates with valid score in GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, CMAT also can apply and will be considered for admission.

Merit list will be prepared, candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview and selection will be made.

SRM University admission criteria:



The exam was held on May 26 and 27, 2018. The University will announce its result online on May 30, 2018.

Candidates who will qualify the exam will be provided admission in MBA / PGDM courses in one of the campuses of SRM University.

Documents to be produced in original at the time of counseling:

Mark sheet of Class 10th as proof of date of birth
Mark sheet of Class 12th or its equivalent
Marksheet of qualifying examination
Provisional certificate or Degree certificate (If available)
Score / Rank card in SRMJEE-M / GMAT / CAT / NMAT etc
Transfer Certificate
Photo ID proof (PAN, Aadhar, Passport) Original for verification and return and Photocopy

Time Duration: 150 minutes or 2:30 hours
Maximum Marks: 300
Total Number of Questions: 100

The paper will be conducted only in online mode.
The candidates will be required to appear for objective type examination and mark the correct answer out of the 4 choices given for each question.
The maximum time provided to answer 100 questions in 150 minutes.
