Andhra Pradesh District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET Combined Entrance Test DIET CET is conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh for admission to Two year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) in Government and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state. Andhra Pradesh State DIET CET Eligibility Candidates must have 10+2 Examinations (qualifying examination) Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission. The candidate should have secured 45 percent of marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 40 percent. The candidates who passed Intermediate examination with vocational course(s) are not eligible. Age Limits The candidates should have completed 17 years There is no upper age limit. Andhra Pradesh State DIET CET Pattern All questions in Andhra Pradesh State DIET CET will be multiple choice questions. Each carrying one mark There shall be no Negative marking. Part Subject Questions Marks Part 1 General Knowledge 5 5 Teaching Aptitude Test 5 5 Part 2 General English 10 10 Telugu/Urdu/Tamil 20 20 Part 3 Mathematics 20 20 Physical Sciences 10 10 Biological Sciences 10 10 Social Studies 20 20 Total 100 100 Application Fee Candidates need to pay 500/- application fee through Debit card or Credit card or Internet Banking. Candidates can also pay through AP online centers or e-Seva centers. |
