Re: Snap IV Test Espa

The SNAP-IV Rating Scale is a modification of the Swanson, Nolan and Pelham (SNAP) Questionnaire (Swanson et al, 1983). The things from the DSM-IV (1994) criteria for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are incorporated for the two subsets of indications: heedlessness (things #1-#9) and hyperactivity/impulsivity (things #11-#19). Additionally, things are incorporated from the DSM-IV criteria for Oppositional Defiant Disorder (things #21-#28) since it regularly is available in youngsters with ADHD. Things have been added to condense the Inattention area (#10) and the Hyperactivity/Impulsivity space (#20) of ADHD. Two different things were included: a thing from DSM-III-R (#29) that was excluded in the DSM-IV list for ODD, and a thing to abridge the ODD space (#30).

Notwithstanding the DSM-IV things for ADHD and ODD, the SNAP-IV contains things from the Conners Index Questionnaire (Conners, 1968) and the Iowa Conners Questionnaire (Loney and Milich, 1985). The IOWA was created utilizing different legitimacy to separate things which measure carelessness/overactivity (I/O — things #4, #8, #11, #31, #32) from those things which measure hostility/resistance (A/D — things #21, #23, #29, #34, #35). The Conners Index (things #4, #8, #11, #21, #32, #33, #36, #37, #38, #39) was produced by selecting the things which stacked most elevated on the different elements of the Conners Questionnaire, and therefore speaks to a general file of adolescence issues.

The SNAP-IV depends on a 0 to 3 rating scale: Not at All = 0, Just A Little = 1, Quite A Bit = 2, and Very Much = 3. Subscale scores on the SNAP-IV are ascertained by summing the scores on the things in the subset and isolating by the quantity of things in the subset.
