SMU (Southern Methodist University) Guildhall was established in 2003 as the premier digital game development education program in the United States and is a premier graduate video game education program located in Plano, Texas. It is the 2 Graduate School for Video Game Design and the first in the world to offer a Master of Interactive Technology degree. It also offers a Professional Certificate, and are the only program with specializations in all four cornerstones of video game development: Programming Code the framework. Programming students concentrate on making art, levels, and game play work in a computer. One engrosses in programming, programming tools, development environments, and testing and code management software. One focus on 3D graphics, math and software design for games, AI for games, and supporting and implementing scripting languages. One develop skills building and using game engines and programming tools, and implementing game code, audio, graphics, and player interfaces. One prepare for careers as game programmers, implementation specialists, integration coordinators, QA specialists and leads, programming leads, and beyond.
