Program in Physical Therapy is provided Saint Louis University through Doisy College of Health Sciences. Physical Therapists (PTs) are health care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages who have medical problem. Major in Physical Therapy (PT) Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in exercise science and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) six-year program Curriculum Outline: Admission: High School Courses Students must have a strong college preparatory curriculum in high school including: 4 years of science, including biology and chemistry. Physics is strongly encouraged but not required. 4 years of math, reaching at least the level of pre-calculus. 4 years of English Minimum Requirements Cumulative grade point averages, ACT or SAT scores are considered. The mean ACT score was 30 and the mean GPA was 4.0 on a 4.0 scale. Current minimum eligibility requirements are: 3.2/4.0 GPA ACT composite of 25 with no subsection below a 23, or equivalent SAT scores. The Program in Physical Therapy does not consider the scores on the writing section.
