The Prestigious Science Conclave of The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) was started in 2008 for the first time.

A mega symposium, exhibition and lecture series on science and technology is held at IIIT-A during the event.

It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to interact with Nobel Laureates and some of the best brains in the worlds. It aims to inspire and motivate students towards careers in Basic Sciences.

There is competition of the projects done/presented by the participants. Those who are interested in competing in the events should provide 1-page information on the Project. The participant needed to bring the Project along with them.

The academic program of the Science Conclave comprises interdisciplinary platform discussions, lectures presented by Nobel Laureates, and addresses questions related to basic science research and application-oriented themes.

To facilitate interactions with Nobel Scientists, sessions were divided into two time periods that were complementary to each other. The sessions consisted of:

• Two one-hour lectures from each Laureate and equivalent scientists
• One 30-minute lecture given by each of the other scientists
• Plenary Sessions involving1200 to 1400 participants
• A total o 36 lectures in six days
• 12 special separate lectures for INSPIRE & College groups
• 2 to 2.5 hour Interaction Sessions involving Nobel Laureates and three to five scientists with subject groups of 100 to 150 participants
• Informal interactions at teas and lunches
• Sightseeing in the City
• A poster and model competition
• Star / Galaxy / Sky watching through telescopes
• Cultural programs on alternate evenings
