Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS), Pokhara was inaugurated in 1994 with an MBBS Degree program.

The 700-bed Manipal Teaching Hospital (MTH), Pokhara was inaugurated in 1998. The college and hospital have been created with modern facilities for medical education and healthcare.

Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS), Pokhara is affiliated to Kathmandu University and is an outcome of a collaboration between the Manipal Group and the Government of Nepal.

Courses offered:

MBBS
Post graduate program in Nursing
Post graduate program in Allied Health

The course is divided into 3 Phases.

First Year is of 2 years duration

Subjects include - Community Medicine and Integrated Basic Medicine (IBMS) which includes Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology and Microbiology

Second Year is of 1 year duration

The subjects include - Forensic Medicine, Applied epidemiology, Family Health Internal Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics and Pediatrics.

Third Year duration is for 1 year

The subjects include - Eye, ENT, Orthopedic, Dentistry, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Radiology, Anesthesiology and Accident and Emergency Medicine
