My symbol of identification is kamal I have done diploma in civil engineering from any of the good and repotted college and now I want to take admission in BE so can I take admission in BE department of Sikkim Manipal University if yes then please provide me information related with that

I have done Diploma in Civil Engineering and now want to do B.Tech Civil Engineering in Sikkim Manipal University to tell me the eligibility criteria for this?

The Department of Civil Engineering, Sikkim Manipal University offers Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Civil Engineering Lateral Entry program.

Candidates with Diploma in Civil Engineering, can apply for direct admission in 2nd in BTech Civil Engineering program.

The Lateral Entry program enables candidates with a 3 years diploma in engineering or an equivalent degree to get admitted directly to 2nd Year (3rd semester).

B.Tech Civil Engineering Lateral Entry

Duration: 3 years.

Candidates are admitted directly to 2nd year

Eligibility-

3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with atleast 45% marks and passed Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject.

Citizenship: Indian nationals.

Entrance Examination

a) General Category, Defence, North East, Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA) and Paramilitary Force Categories:

The candidates will have to appear for the JEE to be conducted by the CBSE.

b) Sikkim Category:

Candidates should apply to the Director, Technical Education, HRDD and Government of Sikkim. They should appear in the entrance test conducted by the Government, the details of which will be notified by the Director, HRDD, Technical Education.

c) MU-OET Category:
Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2017

d) SMIT Offline Test:

Candidates seeking admission under this category will have to appear for offline written test conducted at various centres by SMU.
