Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) is a co-educational public-private university located in Gangtok, Sikkim, India. It was established in 1995 and is the first government-private initiative in the region.

Admissions Details-

Eligibility Criteria-

For the UG courses

You must have 10+2 passed with a 55% from a recognised University.

For the PG courses

Graduation from a government authorized university.

Application Forms-

Application Forms are available at the university office by paying the application fee by cash.

Application form are also available at the university official website.

Application Fees-

Fees required for application-
Rs.100/- (for general candidates)
Rs.50/- (for SC/ST candidates).

Documents required-

1. Mark sheets of 10th and 12th
2. Certificate of 10th
3. Mark sheets of graduation
4. 2 copies of photograph
5. Character certificate.

Selection Criteria-

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the admission test.

Candidates qualified in the CSIR-UGC NET or UGC NET examination only have to appear in the interview for admission in M.Phil/ Ph.D programmes.

Applications are invited for Post Graduate admission to the following disciplines at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences for the academic session 2015-18, under General Category.

All admission will be through the merit list of entrance examination.

There will be only one entrance examination from which both the merit list for general & NRI category will be drawn.

Last date of receipt of duly completed application form at SMIMS is 16th Feb 2015.

OTBS: 17th - 19th Feb, 2015.

Selection will be through an online entrance examination scheduled probable date 21st Feb 2015 from 1 PM - 3 PM Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Bangalore & Gangtok.
