The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is a Central Funded University on a 470-acre (190 ha) campus located near Katra, Jammu and Kashmir.

Fee Structure

For B.Tech & B.Arch. for Batch 2015 Admitted in academic Session 2015-16

1. Annual Tuition Fee: Rs.1,20,000/-

2. Annual Fee : Rs. 15,000/-

3. One time Charges : Rs. 10,000/-

4. Security Deposit : Rs. 10,000/-

5. Hostel Charges : Rs. 20,000/-

Other charges

The annual Mess charges of Rs.24000 (provisional and subject to change) shall have to be paid separately at the time of admission/registration through Demand Draft in favour of "Registrar, SMVD University" payable at Katra/Jammu.

The Annual Fee payable including the Hostel Charges shall have to be paid in one lump at the time of Admission through Demand Draft in favour of "Registrar, SMVD University" payable at Katra/Jammu.

The fee structure is subject to an annual increase of about 5% to 10% as may be decided by the University Authorities.

The mess charges will be payable as per the system adopted by the university from time to time.
