Shree Somnath Sanskrit University, Veraval was set up by Government of Gujarat through an Act of Legislative Assembly went on April 1, 2005. College Grants Commission gave endorsement under segment 2 (f) and included it in the rundown of perceived Universities on February 17, 2006.
