I would like to know if Shobhit University is approved by the Distance Educational Council for the courses offered by School of Distance Education, Shobhit University?

If there should be an occurrence of specialized/proficient projects offered by the college is concerned, wherever required, endorsement from the concerned peak bodies in the nation for example, AICTE, NCTE, and so forth is required to be acquired for which the obligation vests with the college concerned.

Study Centers: The Distance Education Council (DEC) does not offer endorsement to the Study Centers of any college/foundation either straightforwardly or through

Establishment as they are set up by the college/organization worried according to the procurements accessible in their Acts and Statutes.

Regional Jurisdiction: if there should arise an occurrence of Central Universities and the State Universities, the Territorial Jurisdiction will be according to their Acts and Statutes for offering programs through separation mode. The Territorial Jurisdiction in the event of Deemed University will be according to UGC which commands the earlier endorsement of the UGC for opening Study Centers/Off Campus Centers outside the HQs. The regional ward if there should arise an occurrence of Private Institutions (other than Universities) might be their HQs and for no situation outside the State concerned.

Institutional Recognition: The DEC has not agreed endorsement to a particular system offered by the college/establishment and it is the college/organization

to choose the projects to be offered through separation mode and look for endorsement of the statutory groups of the college and other summit bodies, wherever
required
